Ozone

Ozone is a naturally occurring molecule made up of oxygen atoms. Ozone is formed in nature mainly by sunlight or lightning, which causes an ordinary oxygen molecule (O2) to join with an unstable oxygen atom through corona discharge, electrolysis or ultraviolet radiation, becoming ozone (O3). Ozone comes in two forms – gaseous (as a gas) and aqueous (in water). It occurs in nature, but can also be synthesized/man-made – like we do at Enozo Technologies, Inc. Enozo creates aqueous ozone to sanitize, deodorize and clean. All Enozo products use aqueous ozone.

Aqueous ozone (AO) is generally regarded as safe (GRAS) by the FDA and is recognized as safe and highly effective by the National Sanitation Foundation. Enozo is also EPA established and Green Seal Certified. Working as a sanitizer, deodorizer and cleaner, it contains no additives, fragrances or dyes. This means that there is nothing added to the solution that may cause skin, eye or respiratory irritation. AO is a biodegradable substance that does not leave behind any residues that would attract dirt into your facility or home. Since AO replaces various cleaners like glass, stainless steel and other multi-purpose cleaners, our Enozo products help reduce both the synthetic chemicals used for cleaning as well as the number of plastic bottles purchased.

No. Enozo makes ozone at point-of-use (instead of before use), so it does not need to be stabilized.

Naturally, ozone (O3) is a powerful oxidizing agent—which means it can cause chemical changes through oxygen. When ozone encounters soils, pathogens and microbes that cause odors or illness, it changes their chemical makeup. Aqueous Ozone adds oxygen to odor to remove foul scents. It also combats bacteria by breakign through theri cell walls in order to compleely kill pathogens. This process does not perpetuate or build antibody resistance for harmful pathgens.

Have you ever taken a walk outside after a big storm and noticed the fresh scent? That's Ozone! Ozone is created naturally during thunderstorms to oxidize the air.

Ozone can reduce the level of some of most common pathogens by 99.9% more, in just 30 seconds. Many other mosr mainstream multipurpose cleaners take much longer! Some pathogens Ozone can kill include E. coli, Salmonella, Staph A., Enterobacter aerogenes, Klebsiella pneumoniae

Ozone is utilized as a cleaning agent at municipal water treatment plants as well as in the bottled water industry. It is approved by the FDA and by the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) as an antimicrobial agent.

The FDA formally approved the use of ozone as an Antimicrobial Agent for the Treatment, Storage and Processing of Foods in Gas and Aqueous Phases. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA/FSIS) approved the use of ozone for contact with meats and poultry, including raw product to fresh cooked and prior to packaging. In addition to direct contact of foods, ozone also can be applied to food processing equipment and non-food contact surfaces as part of a food company’s sanitation efforts.

Enozo

Enozo spray bottles make Aqueous Ozone (AO) by taking everyday tap water and putting it through a patented process technology called 'Active Diamond Electrolytic Process Technology' or (ADEPT). With ADEPT, the water from the bottle reservoir is pushed into a chamber where it passes through a solid diamond electrode and contacts anelectrical current. Here, an electrochemical reaction occurs that splits the water molecules to create free oxygen atoms, which then bond together to form ozone. When you spray the bottle, the ozonated water water is released through the spray nozzle.

Yes, the EnozoPRO Spray Bottle producess amounts of ozone that meet safety standards set forth by OSHA.

Ozone sprayed from the bottle is active for 5 minutes. Ozone (O3) is a very biodegradable molecule, so once it has encoutnered and killed contaminants and pathogens, it reverts back to oxygen (O2) and water.

The only ingredient used by the Enozo Spray Bottle is normal tap water. Unlike many other sanitizers, deodorizes and cleaners, the Enozo spray bottle doesn’t use harmful chemicals, dyes or perfumes as do your typical multi-purpose cleaners. They are known to contain allergens and can cause irritation of the skin, eyes and respiratory systems—or even asthma. Some cleaning products that claim to be “green” or “natural” may contain harmful ingredients. Be awar that because current regulations do not require manufacturers to list all ingredients on the labels, some of the other cleaners on the market may contain "extra" ingredients.

The Enozo spray bottle can be used to sanitize, deodorize and clean hard, non-porous surface such as tables/countertops, door handles and stair rails, food preparation areas and culinary equipment, bathroom surfaces and appliances, gym equipment and more!

Enozo is the perfect product to deodozize pet beds and throws/pillows, and clean appliances and other stainless steel surfaces, mirrors and windows, waterproof electronics and touchscreen surfaces.

Yes, please see the testing of the independent third party at Toxcel Toxicology and Regulatory Affairs Report.

All Enozo products are certified “Made in the USA”.

All EnozoPRO Spray Bottles are hand-tested prior to shipping, to ensure it works properly.

Two LED lights on the head of the bottle will show you that the bottle is actively producing ozone. The blue checkmark that lights up when you apply the trigger indicates your bottle is actively producing ozone.

When your EnozoPRO Spray Bottle runs out of battery, it will stop spraying and a red ‘X’ will flash three times. A single red ‘X’ will flash when the trigger is released to indicate the battery is low and that recharging will be needed soon.

The EnozoPRO Spray Bottle typically lasts up to 10 reservoir refills.

A full recharge usually takes around 3 hours. A red LED light will be visible on your EnozoPRO Spray Bottle during the charging period. Upon being fully charged, the light willm turn from red to green.

Yes, only normal tap water should be used in your EnozoPRO Spray Bottle. Do not add eny extra ingredients to the water in the reservoir. The addition of essential oils and other chemicals can interfere with the ozone generation process and damage the internal hardware of your bottle.

The water you use to fill your EnozoPRO Spray Bottle should be cold or room temperature.

Great news! The Enozo Aqueous Ozone Sanitizing Spray Bottle[1] has achieved a 99.9% virus reduction within 30 seconds against the commercial testing surrogate for Human Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes the COVID-19 disease referredto as "Coronavirus"). The Enozo Spray Bottle was tested against surrogate 229E/ATCC VR-740[2] on hard non-porous surfaces using scientifically recognized testing methods.[3] Please note that the Enozo Aqueous Ozone Spray Bottle has been categorized by the EPA as a pesticidal device. The EPA does not routinely include pesticidal devices in its review and therefore EPA has not yet confirmed whether, or under what circumstances, such products might be effective against the spread of COVID-19. This explains why the Enozo sanitizing spray bottle does not qualify for listing with the chemical pesticidal formulations reviewed by EPA and included in EPA List N of disinfectants[4].

[2] Surrogate virus 229E/ATCC VR-740 is a commercially available virus that mimics the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
[3] The test protocol is based in the ASTM E1052 Standard, with considerations for use of ozone.

DISCLAIMER: The Enozo Aqueous Ozone Spray Bottle (also branded O3waterworks™) is classified as a pesticidal device under the EPA regulations. It has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 (the virus causing COVID-19) on hard non-porous surfaces employing test methods recognized as scientifically valid in the field. However, it is important to note that unlike chemical pesticides, EPA does not routinely review the safety or efficacy of pesticidal devices, and therefore cannot confirm whether, or under what circumstances, such products might be effective against the spread of COVID-19.

eClean Technologies’ products meet the highest health, safety, and environmental regulations. Eclean products eliminate the need for exposure to harmful chemicals and comply with the EPA and other regulatory standards. EClean is registered with the EPA and NSF.

Ozone concnetration is measured electronically, spectromically or via wet chemistry. Measuring electrically or amperometrically is accomplished with either bare electrodes or through a membrane, such as ORP, conductivity, dissolved ozone (DO), and hydrogen-ion concentration (pH) meters. In the scope of sanitation products, Aqueous Ozone (AO) has a higher oxidation reduction potential (ORP)10 than aqueous chlorine sanitation solutions. whcih means, in order to validate the effectiveness of ozone application in sanitation, only detection technology that can effectively measure approved concentrations for cleaning and sanitization operations should be employed.

Most viruses are categorized as either enveloped or non-enveloped. Non-enveloped viruses, such as Hepatitis A, are more dofficult to destroy since they are usually less effected by physio-chemical reactions.

Studies show that Aqueous Ozone (AO) is highly effective against both both non-enveloped and enveloped viruses.
